About me
Douglas Currie
Born in England, made in Switzerland.
I came to Switzerland in 2011 to work in the casino industry. Thankfully, that didn't last long and I quickly switched to teaching English, my original passion.
10 years later I have helped numerous trainees and business people achieve their goals in English.
With a Cambridge Teaching Certificate to complement a Bachelors in Linguistics and a Masters in Communications, I tailor each course to the individual needs of the learner, whether it's for business, exams or just self-improvement.
I have taught young and old, beginners and experts, and enjoy meeting people from all walks of life.
In summer you can find me with my two daughters in the Badi, in winter maybe on the slopes. In between, I sit in front of the webcam or whiz through Zurich on my bike.
